Overview
The Society for Underwater Technology (SUT) proudly invited those based in the Kuala Lumpur to the opening session of the Kuala Lumpur Branch.
SUT is a multidisciplinary learned Society bringing together individuals and organisations from more than 40 countries that have a common interest in underwater technology, ocean science and offshore engineering. The SUT was founded in 1966 and includes engineers, scientists, other professionals and students.
The SUT has established branches in Aberdeen, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, Perth and Melbourne. In recognition of the increased subsea activity in the South East Asian region, a local committee was formed on 21 April with the view to establishing a permanent presence of the SUT in Kuala Lumpur. The branch welcomed individuals to enjoy lively presentations from the guest speakers on subsea developments within the KL region.
